Biohack and Live Happy and Healthy

Whole Foods, Organics, and Naturals Why?

I grew up in a big city, the youngest of seven. My parents were from the south and were in their fifties when I was born. Like all parents, if they missed sharing wisdom with their older children, they would ensure to engrain anything missed into the youngest child. I remember my mother snatching an apple out of my hand one day, and she said, “Don’t eat that apple, it is bleeding!” She said, “When I was on the farm we had all kinds of apple trees, and never did the skin color bleed”, into the meaty portion of the apple. She said, “They are messing with the food”. I was about seven then, and that was about fifty years ago. After that, every summer we went down South for vacation, and to bring back food. For meat, my mother would get as much as she could fit into the trunk of our Chrysler Newport. In most cases this was about a half of COW. She would also add in some fruits, vegetables, and grains for the Winter. I remember helping my mother with canning and preparing the meats for the freezer, and I learned so much.

Since then, I have always looked for natural & organic alternative to everything. I make my own lotions and soaps, shampoos and hair products to grow and maintain my hair. My daughter and I grow vegetables and fruits. As much as possible we try to purchase meats from organic farms, we look for organic products for cleaning, makeup, and anything else we use on a regular basis. Don’t get me wrong I grew up trying everything that’s both good and bad for you, sometimes you just can’t help it, and this is when I learned how to make my own medicines or products and process for healing and detoxing my body.
